At the beginning of Year 3 we studied The Stone Age. Our class text was called "Stone Age Boy" and we learnt it off by heart. We then wrote our own version.
We we looked at the paintings that had been discovered in caves left by the Stone Age people and learnt a little about what the pictures represented.
We had fun exploring how 'tools' were made with just stones and wood.
We studied Stone Henge and tried to recreate our own. It was very hard to make the small stones stand up.
One of our English topics was newspaper reports. We spent some time interviewing characters to help us write our reports. Here are the interviews from the Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf.
Thank you for joining us on open morning. It is always lovely to see parents, careers and grandparents in class.
