We hope you all had a restful Christmas break and that you are raring to go with some home learning. Mrs Holmes and I are so disappointed not to be seeing you this morning.
Our topic this week is our bodies.
Please start your learning by watching this video and join in when you can. https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p07j4yyx/mr-tumble-songs-16-head-shoulders-knees-and-toes
For Maths today, ask a grown up to write a number 3. See if you can copy it or trace it. Then find some sets of 3 objects, for example 3 apples and 3 cars. Count them carefully
Today in RE we are talking about how people celebrate the New Year.
Watch CBeebies - My First Festivals, Series 2, New Year (bbc.co.uk) to find out how Anabelle celebrates. How did your family celebrate? What did they do straight after the countdown? Which year are we in? What year was it last year?
Explain what a new year’s resolution is. Share your own resolution with your child and help them to choose one of their own. Write it on a piece of paper for them and help them to copy or trace their name.
Pick a favourite book and ask a grownup to read it with you. What happened in the story?
Don’t forget to post photos and videos of your work on Evidence Me every day. We look forward to seeing it.
I hope you have a good day today. Don't forget to go into the garden or go for a walk if you can - the fresh air will be good for you!
Mrs Bill and Mrs Holmes
I have also posted this learning on Evidence Me.
