Safer Travel at Nash Mills

At Nash Mills, we have been working with Hertfordshire County to improve the road safety around our school and for all members of our school community. 

We have a team of pupils, ably supported by Mrs Wilson who are responsible for this in school, called our Junior Travel Ambassadors. 

As part of this, we will be encouraging our pupils and families to be more active every day by swapping the car for a healthier and more environmentally friendly school run.

Modeshift STARS is the national schools awards scheme which recognises schools demonstrating a healthy track record by supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable travel and will be launched during the Autumn term.
