Our curriculum is based on statements from Development Matters (2021), but also includes Letters & Sounds phase 1 and Read Write Inc (phonics), Jigsaw (PSHE), Emmanuel and Understanding Christianity (RE). The children also have weekly Italian lessons.

In the summer term, nursery learn the set 1 sounds from the Read Write Inc phonics scheme.

We have half-termly topics on a 2-year rotation. Some mini-topics are included in both years, for example, Seasons, Harvest, Christmas, and Easter.
